Packed with industry-leading technology the ARCTICXTREME V2 lithium battery is designed to fit in both the internal or external battery box of any motorhome or caravan. With its low profile case design it fits neatly under the seat base of any commercial vehicle and can be secured with ease in a standard battery tray. It will fit under the swivel seatbase of a VW T6.1, the new Ford Custom,VW T7, Sprinter, MAN, Renault Traffic, and all Fiat ducato motorhome derivatives.
V2 i now shipped with an advanced safety and protection feature allows you to safely isolate your battery during maintenance and completely disconnect it from its loads for winterisation with the press of a button. No more fumbling around trying to disconnect large battery cables.
This ARCTICXTREME is also the perfect ‘drop-in-replacement’ for caravans with powerful motor movers, that tend to kill lead acid batteries pretty fast. The E-Marked SMARTCOMM SERIES from LithiumPro offers seamless Plug & Play integration via CANBus, allowing these batteries to communicate effortlessly with inverters, chargers, VictronGX, Ekrano, and NMEA2000 compliant head units, such as GARMIN, CZONE, SIMRAD, and RAYMARINE. This enables the sharing of live system data for optimal performance and enhanced monitoring capabilities.
This battery is a genuine ‘PLUG & PLAY’ direct replacement for your lead-acid battery. As the manufacture of the integrated BMS we have broadened the charging parameters accepted by our batteries to allow them to charge with almost any lead-acid charger. If your motorhome or caravan has a lead-acid (CCCV) Constant Current Constant Voltage based charger that charges between 13.8v – 14.6v. (99% of all chargers) You can install this battery along side your current charger and it will charge just fine, without the need to fit any other components. With our advanced onboard Active-Balancing technology it ensures the battery is fully balanced with every charge, no manner what charger you use. The ArcticXtreme will fit in exactly the same place as your old 90-110ah Lead acid battery and will charge using your existing CCCV charger with no requirement to upgrade your terminal connections either.
Of course, should you wish to upgrade to a more powerful, dedicated lithium charger with a LiFePO4 profile, it will charge much faster and more efficiently, but it is NOT a requirement with our batteries. See here for more information on dedicated lithium chargers.

One of the many unique features of the SMARTCOMM SERIES is the latest onboard safety mechanism, which protects the battery and connected electronics from dangerous arcs and sparks caused by powerful inrush currents during initial connection to high-powered inverters. This powerful upgraded 175Ah ArcticXtreme battery, is equipped with an advanced proprietary 200A BMS, which has the capability to run any household appliance up to 2500W when connected to a capable inverter. This unique capability allows you to run high powered devices from a single lithium battery, saving the need to purchase extra lithium batteries just to power your inverter.
Additionally, the new integrated battery isolation safety feature allows you to fully isolate your battery from its loads during winter to prevent your battery from going flat, ensuring both convenience and safety. Additionally, you can winterise your system at the touch of a button, disconnecting your battery from its system without the worry of your battery discharging over the winter months. Lithium batteries do not require a trickle charging and can be stored safely for months without the need to be charged.

The battery fuse protects the wiring — not the devices connected to them. When replacing lead-acid batteries with lithium (LiFePO4), a suitably rated primary battery fuse is essential. Its critical role is to protect the system from catastrophic short-circuit events. Unlike lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 cells have extremely low internal resistance and in a dead-short scenario the battery can release many thousands of amps almost instantaneously for a split second. Without adequate protection, this can vaporise cables, potentially resulting in fire. This means the fuse protecting your old lead-acid battery is no longer suitable. It will need replacing. You are likely to have a MEGA or MIDI fuse which are not appropriate for protecting Lithium batteries. MEGA/MIDI fuses are ideal for use with Lead-acid batteries and protecting loads from chargers. But they do not have the right characteristics to protect your system from the power of Lithium.
LithiumPro Batteries have very powerful and advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) that are designed to protect against short circuit, reverse polarity and over current scenarios but this is NO substitute for having a correctly sized mechanical primary battery fuse.
Its critical the fuse has a fast-acting element and the appropriate Ampere Interrupt Capacity (AIC) designed to blow quickly and safely. MEGA and MIDI fuses only have a maximum AIC rating of 2000A
For safety and compliance, only use reputable fuse brands such as Blue Sea, Bussmann, Littelfuse, Mersen or Siemens with high AIC capacity ≥6000A. Never use cheap fuse alternatives from market places without datasheets or the fuse specification market on the fuse itself. – Proper fusing is the most critical safety component in your electrical system.

For our drop-in-replacement range of batteries with capacities up to 180AH we recommend the MRBF fuse as they can be secured directly to the positive battery terminal which offers the safest approach – by not leaving any cable exposed without being fused. They also have a high AIC rating of 10,000A. Given the ‘drop-in-replacement’ range are often placed in height sensitive locations an ANL fuse & holder would be an suitable alternative as long as it has and AIC rating of ≥ 6000A. Always check the fuses manufacturers datasheet for the Interrupt rating.
For our larger capacity batteries such as the 460AH-650AH we only recommend using a Class T or NH fuses.
Ensure you protect your lithium battery and the system by adding a high-quality primary battery fuse with the a suitable interrupt capacity. IMPORTANT: Only use notable brand fuses and not cheap fuses from various online market places.
